How the directory is organised
Each game belongs to one of eight gameplay categories. The category describes what you actually do, not the theme — every game here is ninja-themed, so that would not narrow anything down.
- Runner — automatic forward movement, jump and slide. Ninja Dash, Shadow Escape.
- Platform — jumping between surfaces you can stand on. Shadow Jump, Ninja Climb.
- Action — dodging incoming hazards at speed. Shuriken Sprint.
- Skill — precision and designed timing challenges. Rooftop Ninja, Ninja Obstacle Master.
- One-Tap — a single input, all timing. Ninja Reflex.
- Adventure — levels, lives and a goal. Mystic Ninja.
- Collection — gather as much as you can before the clock runs out. Ninja Coin Rush.
Difficulty ratings explained
Easy games are forgiving: a mistake costs progress rather than the run, or the controls are simple enough that the only skill is timing. Medium games end on contact but telegraph clearly. Hard games ask for precision on every input — Rooftop Ninja and Ninja Obstacle Master are the two we would not recommend starting with.
